Fiordland Trilogy, a limited edition celebration of the region by landscape photographer Andris Apse, won the 2007 NZ Pride in Print Supreme Award for Matthew Hinman of Christchurch. A Gold Award medallist for printing and binding, Fiordland Trilogy is proof that true craftsmanship is alive and well in the NZ print industry, said convenor of judges Grant Letfus, who described it as an example of craftsmanship on a grand scale. "The judges were unanimous in their praise of the obvious teamwork and pride in all areas of design, prepress, print and binding, culminating in the realisation of Andris Apse's vision." A vision with which Apse has lived for over 25 years.
